National 4-H Council's 4-H Community ATV Safety Program is hosting a series of regional workshops on ATV safety. The purpose of the workshops is to train interested youth-adult teams on ATV safety and youth development and help participants develop plans to implement safety programs at the local level. Workshop time will be dedicated to youth-adult partnership training, community development strategies, and developing plans for local ATV safety programs. In order to carry out the plans developed at the workshops, teams selected to attend the workshops will be eligible to apply for grants to implement local ATV safety initiatives.

National 4-H Council will pay all lodging and on-site costs for those applicants selected to attend the workshops. A travel stipend will be provided to participating teams to help offset part of the cost of transportation to and from the workshops.

National 4-H Council works to advance the 4-H youth development movement to build a world in which youth and adults learn, grow, and work together as catalysts for positive change. National 4-H Council partners with the Cooperative Extension System, communities, and other organizations to provide technical support and training, develop curricula, create model programs, and promote positive youth development to fulfill its mission. National 4-H Council also manages the National 4-H Conference Center, a full-service conference facility, and the National Supply Service, the USDA nationally authorized agent for the interstate sales of paraphernalia bearing the 4-H name and emblem. The 4-H name and emblem is protected under 18 U.S.C. 707. National 4-H Council is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
